HISTORY: vomiting, coffee grounds, melaena, biochem in house normal, no response to hypoallergenic diet
Large, approx. 4cm gastric mass here with adjacent gastric lymph node involvement. Biopsy discussed / offered however poor candidate for surgery and gastric tumours tend not to respond well to chemotherapy and so owner opted for euthanasia.

VISCERAL LYMPH NODES: Abnormal: 1.4cm diameter markedly hypoechoic fat / round gastric LN with surrounding hyperechogenicity.
STOMACH: Abnormal: focal almost 4cm markedly hypoechoic mass affecting fundus with well demarcated but irregular margins, poorly vascular on colour Doppler evaluation, loss of continuity of gastric lumen, complete loss of layering in affected region of stomach
SMALL INTESTINES: Normal
LARGE INTESTINES: Normal
PANCREAS: Normal left limb not visible due to distortion by gastric mass
GENITAL TRACT: Not applicable
