There is evidence of intestinal disease here which affects the mucosal layer and so endoscopy would be feasible should biopsies be required from the upper small intestine; the submucosal layer of the colon is also affected however. Has faecal culture been performed?

STOMACH: Normal – empty, no focal thickenings, gas++

SMALL INTESTINES: Abnormal – thickness normal however speckles and striations throughout mucosal layer

LARGE INTESTINES: Abnormal – prominent submucosal layer and thickness 3.4mm

PANCREAS: Normal
