PATIENT: Freya Rumis 1966
HISTORY: precordial thrill noted by owners, previous echo showed eccentric mitral regurgitant jet ?mild jet but perpendicular to MV – hypothesised that direction of jet is causing thrill.
No change here in cardiac dimensions. No progression. Annual echocardiography recommended.
Comments: the mitral valve is thickened; the free wall leaflet is more difficult to semonstrate prolapse motion today. The remainder of the heart cha, bers / valves a/ outflow tracts appear normal. systolic function is good. patient unsedated, tense, heart rate 100bpm, sinus rhythm
