Charlie Foy

PATIENT: Charlie Foy

HISTORY: ascites, occasional vomiting, bloods unremarkable

Abdominal U/S

SUMMARY:

The unusual pancreatic lesion may reflect cyst or abscess, and may or may not be relevent to the clinical presentation, however warrants further investigation.  Ultrasound guided drainage under anaesthesia could be attempted, however the lesion may be difficult to access and surgical intervention may be required.  Analysis of the free abdominal fluid would also be helpful.  Jonathon Deacon at Moorview vets (0191 2566990) is advised for soft tissue referral such as this.
